At Steps of Faith, it is our firm belief that no one who wants to dance should be denied the opportunity based on finances. We have created a scholarship program so that we can offer reduced rates for families and individuals who need financial assistance.

How does it work?
If someone is unable to pay our yearly tuition, we have a few options for them!
First, we recommend that anyone inquiring about financial help for a child, applies for funding through Jumpstart – a program through Canadian Tire that helps pay for Children to participate in different kinds of sports programs! If your application is accepted they may be able to cover your tuition or assist with part of it. If they do not accept your application, your willingness to go through the process of applying helps us to see your commitment to doing everything in your power to be part of this school.
If the need for help remains, we will set up a meeting to discuss your individual financial situation/need.
Based on the information you give us we will establish what kind of scholarship/discount you qualify for and then go through our scholarship contract with you. Dance classes are very valuable, therefore we always require something as “payment” for the classes we teach. When money isn’t possible for you, we consider your commitment to the school (through a scholarship contract) as payment. If a contract is broken, the scholarship is discontinued.

This program is always in need of your support. There are several ways you can help the students in this program, from covering costs of tuition, costumes, dancewear, etc. to donating any dance attire you no longer need, purchasing Steps of Faith merch from our “shop“, and praying for the Lords blessing on this program and these students.
