Daniela Sanchez-Elliott studied classical ballet for 12 years in Mexico, Cuba and Spain. Through her training, and later in her career as a professional ballerina she performed in classical works such as The Nutcracker, Giselle, Swan Lake, Don Quixote and Coppelia, among others. Ms Daniela felt God calling her to start teaching ballet, and in 2010 she started Steps of Faith Christian Dance School. She would love the opportunity to teach your children to love dance as much as she does!

Lilyanna Mejia is a dancer, teacher, and strives to always be a student. She has loved dancing since she could walk and has been training in dance since she was 9 years old. Throughout her life, God has used dance to teach her truths about who he is, who he made her to be, and what it means to be his servant & child. Lily takes joy in sharing her experience with the next generation of dancers, and hopes to encourage them in their journey with dance & the Lord.
Anna Thomson
Dance Instructor / Syllubus Program Manager
Anna Thomson trained in classical & contemporary ballet from the age of 7 and has experience in lyrical, jazz and contemporary dance. She toured with 1:11 Ministries in 2016 and has been part of the Awaken Dance Tour for several years doing street evangelism. Anna has been teaching at Steps of Faith since 2022 and desires to give her students as many dance opportunities as she received growing up.
Tabithah Thomson
Dance Instructor
Tabithah Thomson has been dancing since the age of 5, she’s had training in classical ballet, contemporary ballet, lyrical and little bits of jazz and contemporary dance here and there. She toured with 1:11 Ministries in 2016, performing their production, “Incarnation”, as well as 2018, in “The Christmas Chest”. Tabithah began dancing with Steps of Faith in 2022 and joined our staff in 2023. She views dance as an important form of worship and is excited to see what the Lord has in store for our dance community.
Sarah Oliveira
Dance Instructor
Sarah Oliveira has been dancing since she was 10 years old. She has had training in ballet, jazz, acro, contemporary, lyrical, tap and hip hop. She believes that dance is a beautiful way to convey the love and grace of God, glorifying Him through artistry and movement. She joined Steps of Faith’s staff in 2024 and is so excited to help your children grow as dancers and followers of Christ, sharing the joy of the Lord!
Ariana Elliott
Jr. Dance Instructor
Ariana Elliott has been dancing with Steps of Faith since she was a toddler. She became one of our teaching assistants at a very young age and has a gift for working with our littlest dancers! Ariana officially joined our team as a jr. staff member in 2024 and has been teaching some of our beginner classes!
Meghan Saunders
Dance Instructor / Social Media Manager
Meghan Saunders has been dancing since the age of 5 and has experience in many different styles of dance, but has a particular love for tap! She loves teaching and has over five years of experience. Meghan joined Steps of Faith in 2024 and has a passion for helping others grow in their love of Jesus as well as dance!
Brianna Ramirez
Teaching Assistant
Brianna Ramirez has been dancing with Steps of Faith since she was 3 years old. Through the years she has worked hard to become one of our advanced dancers and has grown as a young woman of God. When she dances, she finds the peace and joy of the Lord and cannot get enough! She became one of our assistant teachers in 2023 and strives to be an example as a Christian & an inspiration as a dancer to our students.
Melah Mulder
Teaching Assistant
Melah Mulder has been dancing since she was 3 years old. She started in ballet and tap, and continued to expand into many different dance styles as she grew up. Coming from a competitive dance background she found that at Steps of Faith she had so much purpose dancing for Jesus! Dance has become a beautiful form of worship, and a way to honor God rather than impress other people. She is very excited to teach at the studio and help others find freedom in their dancing, while introducing new fun dance styles to our crew.
Chantal Sladić
Head of Administration
Chantal Sladić came to Steps of Faith in 2019 seeking to nurture her daughter’s love for dance & music, and to teach her to use it in a way that honors God. They quickly found that SOF was a home to them, and Chantal joined our staff as Mrs. Elliott’s right hand man about a week later! Through the years she has been a huge part of all that this school has accomplished, and as we have grown she has become our head of administration. She loves being a part of what God is leading us to be, and is a constant support to our staff and SOF families.
